The losing streak of Qalandars continues as they lose their home game against the Sultans!

Multan Sultans won the toss and elected to bowl first, which actually did not prove a wrong decision as they restricted the Qalandars to a total of just 138 runs, taking 8 wickets. The only two batsmen to get into their thirties were captain Sohail Akhtar (34 runs off 30 balls) and Chris Lynn (39 runs off 19 balls), while the other 9 batters failed to even touch the twenties.  From Multan’s bowling unit, M. Ilyas, Imran Tahir and Moeen Ali took 2 wickets each while Sohail Tanvir sent 1 batsman to the pavillion.  Although the bowling unit of Qalandars having Haris Rauf and Shaheen Afridi managed to take 5 wickets (which included 2 run-outs) but due to a low target, the Sultans won the game comprehensively by 5 wickets in hand and 23 balls reamining. There were two mis-fields in a row which further eased the victory for Sultans as they were just 2 runs away from winning the game. Shahid Afridi hit a four and won the game in a heroic way. Shan Masood (38 runs off 29), Rilee Rossouw (32 runs off 28 balls) and Shahid Afridi (21-not out off 12 balls) stood out as the top scorers of the game.  Imran Tahir who took 2 wickets at an economy of 5.2 was awarded with the Player of the Match trophy.
