Two alleged terrorists planning to assassinate religious and minority leaders arrested from Lahore

Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) have arrested two suspects during an operation in the Lari Adda (General Bus Stand) area of Lahore on Wednesday.  According to CTD sources, the arrested terrorists belonged to a banned organization and were taken into custody.  According to CTD officials, the terrorists, identified as Walayat Khan and Abdul Malik aka Izzatullah, belong to Afghanistan. Pistols, explosives, mobile phones and videos were also recovered during the operation.  A list of minority leaders has also been recovered from the terrorists. According to CTD sources, the alleged terrorists were planning to assassinate religious scholars and minority leaders.
