“Wake Up Muslim Ummah” trends as clashes continue in Jerusalem

“Wake Up Muslim Ummah” remained on top trending on Twitter just hours after clashes between Israeli police and Palestinians continued for the third day. According to Palestinian medics, 90 civilians were wounded by rubber bullets and stun grenades used by the Israeli officers.

Civilians in disarray as Israeli Police attacks Al-Aqsa mosque on Friday evening

Clashes began following an operation initiated by the Israeli police at Al-Aqsa mosque on Friday , resulting in widespread injuries. The mosque is considered to carry significance in both Islam and Judaism. The international community condemned the incident with Jordon calling out the Israeli violence as “Barbaric”.
