The Federal Constitutional Court (FCC) has set aside the Supreme Court’s 2024 order that directed the demolition of Monal Restaurant and other restaurant infrastructure inside the Margalla Hills National Park.
The court ruled that ownership and land disputes should be decided by the relevant trial courts, while administrative matters will be handled by the appropriate regulatory authorities. It also directed lower courts to expedite the pending cases.
