A much-needed revival of the old times as Bilal Maqsood releases 8 Urdu nursery rhymes

What happened:

On March 7, Strings founder Bilal Maqsood announced that he has written, composed,and sang eight nursery songs in Urdu, in partnership with Peek Freans Gluco. The animated rhymes can be found on YouTube as Maqsood stated that his primary goal was to deliver quality Urdu content to Pakistani children.

Details:

Giving a sneak-peak to his audience into the composing of one of the rhymes, Bilal wrote, “Hi guys! Eight original Urdu nursery rhymes. Written, composed and sung by me in collaboration with Peek Freans Gluco are now on YouTube.”

The post:

Maqsood’s post included a video that included snippets from the animated rhymes as well as his voice in the backdrop. His rhymes are interspersed with clips of him addressing the crowd to explain his new endeavour.

What else:

On March 25,2021, Strings’ musical journey came to an end after 33 years and Maqsood opted to go solo and build his own way roughly a year later.
