Age limit set for Umrah pilgrims: Saudi Arabia
Saudi Kingship has announced that the permits for Umrah for overseas Muslims have been limited to only those aged from 18-50 years. The Saudi Foreign Ministry has said that travelers are also required to be fully vaccinated against Covid-19. The travelers should only be vaccinated with the vaccines that are approved in Saudi Arabia.
While, easing the Covid-19 restrictions, Saudi Arabia has made it mandatory for the pilgrims to wear masks while performing religious rituals. The new policy by the Saudi Foreign Ministry has emphasized the age limit that only oversees Muslims aged between 18-50 will get a permit to travel to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
