Australian man loses hope in humans and plans to marry a robot

What happened: Geoff Gallagher from Queensland, Australia after reading an article regarding robots, decided to marry one. The report also showed him the price ranges of the humanoid robots ranging from 3000 to 43500 dollars. Odditycentral quotes Geoff’s interview as,  “They looked so lifelike.”  Subsequently, he decided to purchase a robot by the name of  Emma  as he said,  “After browsing the website, I decided on a robot called Emma. With pale skin and beautiful blue eyes, I thought she looked lovely.”  Details: Geoff Gallagher was offered a discount in return for publicity as he could not afford the four thousand dollar robot. When Emma arrived, Geoff said,  “I talked to her as much as possible so that she could get used to my voice and with each conversation, she became smarter, soaking in the information and learning new words.”  The humanoid robot arrived at Geoff’s place in 2019 and it has been two years since  Emma  was a part of Geoff’s life.  More: However, after two years, Geoff put on a ring on  Emma’s  finger and thinks of her as his robot wife. At the same time, Geoff takes  Emma  out on drives and comes home from work early. Though they are not legally married, Geoff said,  “I would love to be the first person in Australia to marry a robot.”
