Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has directed Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat to teach weekly classes in government schools to experience classroom challenges firsthand.
This new rule helps the minister see the real conditions of schools, teachers, and students instead of just reading reports.
During this same meeting, the government also decided to register all private tuition centers, check on private schools, and pay 138,000 foundation school teachers directly through bank accounts to stop fraud.
