German engineers to develop Pakistan’s first state-of-art football stadium in Karachi

What happened:

On January 4, the NED University and Global Soccer Ventures signed a 10-year agreement to establish the country’s first soccer city stadium, which will be equipped with FIFA-approved facilities. ARY News quotes NED University’s Vice-Chancellor’s press release as “The university wants to be at the forefront of science and technology as well as football. The construction of the state-of-art stadium will encourage other cities to do the same.”

Details:

Under the 10-year agreement of 12 million dollars between the university and GSV, the German engineers will develop numerous football infrastructure projects in the provincial capital. The football stadium will be in line with FIFA’s regulations and made according to international standards.

What else:

The Global Soccer Venture’s representatives disclosed the idea behind the football stadium. The representatives said that the idea behind the project is to promote the local talent by offering them world-class facilities.
