How Israel Spent $46.5 million to influence ai responses and hide the reality

Brad Parscale, Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, built a large network of websites under his company Clock Tower X as part of a $46.5 million contract with the Israeli government.

The purpose of the websites was to influence responses of llms such as chatgpt, gemini and claude. This practice is usually referred to as “LLM Poisoining”

As part of the project, millions of Americans received automated text messages from fake profiles with names like ‘Emma’ or ‘Sarah.’ The messages came from a group called ‘Friends for Peace’ and asked people what they thought about regional security issues.

This project is part of a larger $700 million budget plan approved by Israel in 2026 and managed by the Foreign Ministry. The goal is to influence public opinion and improve Israel’s declining image around the world.
