After the first post-mortem report, the Sindh government portrayed the case as having been caused by suicide. However the second report revealed something entirely different; Raza had been shot from behind and his body had injuries that happened before he died. The bullet entered the body via his upper back and exited through his chest, causing fractures to the 5th and 6th ribs. The skull had been fractured. The nose had been fractured. The jaw was bruised with clotted blood, indicating that he had been beaten with fists.
The Twist Nobody Expected
It gets even worse – the new forensic tests revealed traces of acid in his stomach, badly damaging his lungs. In addition to that, acid was also detected on his hands, feet, and his shirt. Along with that, someone else’s sweat was found on his shirt, and his blood samples reportedly showed signs of a sedative drug. Finally, gunshot residue was found in increased quantities in the back part of his shirt, right where the second autopsy claimed that the bullet had entered.
The Guest House Everyone’s Talking About
The police have also seized the rental contract of the guest house in Gulistan-e-Jauhar. The same guest house where Raza’s father went to look for his son, and where a 14-year-old laborer was found crying, with the staff reportedly fleeing the scene.
Social media accused Sindh Senior Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon of owning the property and of his son, Rawal, leaving for London immediately after the incident. The Sindh minister denied the allegation outright and filed a complaint with the Cyber Crime Agency, calling it a conspiracy against him.

The Sindh government first announced a judicial commission headed by high court judges. Then, less than two days later, it quietly walked back after the family objected. Two officers have been suspended for mishandling the crime scene. The investigation team has been dissolved and reformed twice. This isn’t an investigation moving forward; it’s a government trying to control the story as it collapses in real time.
