What happened : Benjamin Netanyahu’s 12 years run Israeli Prime Ministership ended on Sunday as a ‘government of change’ was established by nationalist Naftali Bennet. The new government that aims to focus on domestic reforms was voted into the administration by a fragile majority.

The response: The longest-serving Prime Minister Netanyahu bid his Farwell amidst the angry protests held by his supporters. He called the new Israeli coalition ‘the greatest coalition fraud’ in the history of democracy. In his address, he pledged a prompt return to deal with the issues of Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah. Palestinians remian unmoved by the change in administration. They believe that Bennet like his predecessor plans to follow a right-wing agenda, avoiding international issues such as their policy towards the Palestinians, despite having a rare 21% Arab minority in his party.
Netanyahu has known for several months that he’d eventually end up ousted. He had a window of opportunity to negotiate an immunity or leniency deal in exchange for his immediate resignation. But like his idiot pal Trump, he refused to cut a deal. Now they’ll both rot in a cell.
