PIA celebrates Christmas with Santa Claus surprising passengers with gifts
Ayesha Tammy Haq a lawyer by profession, shared a heartwarming picture of a Santa Claus on a PIA flight from Islamabad to Karachi distributing gifts among the passengers. Ayesha in her tweet wrote, “Sometimes PIA gets it so right #Santa on the flight from Islamabad to Karachi distributing gifts to jingle bells kids were thrilled and people clapped and sang along.”
However, the Twitterati had a mixed response as Abdul Wahab tweeted, “Was it an international flight having foreigners on board? No. Religious tolerance is something else but this is unnecessary. Wt next Holi? Diwali?” On the other hand, Mehvish Muneera applauded the effort and wrote, “Fantastic initiative PIA!”
Earlier in 2017, the national flag bearer airline surprised its passengers during the same Karachi-Islamabad flight and tweeted, “In the spirit of sharing joy our Senior Flight Purser, Peter Inayat dressed up as Santa and with the help of cabin crew gave out gifts & goodies.” Pakistan International Airlines often surprises its passengers with gifts at different festivals.
