On Wednesday, 23rd January, Finance Minister Asad Umar rolled over government’s third finance bill in their efforts to stabalise the plummeting economy. Government believes that the new mini-budget plan will help to generate more revenue for the existing government and will also encourage business activity by low income investors especially youth. He believes that the small and medium enterprises are the foundation of the growing economy. Asad also criticized previous government for their futile economic reforms and also underscored that the PTI’s government has inherited the pile of economic failures of PML-N ‘s government due to which economic progress is in slow pace.
