PTI’s Qasim Suri attacked PML-N activists and guards during sehri
Former Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Qasim Khan Suri was attacked in the early hours of Friday at a private hotel in Islamabad.
According to Suri, when he and several guests arrived at a hotel in Kohsar Market for Sehri, he was attacked by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) activists and guards of Federal Minister for Narcotics Control Shahzain Bugti. Suri remained unharmed in the incident, but his friend got minor injuries. SSP operation arrived on the scene with a large presence of police and quickly got the situation under control.
Authorities began gathering evidence using CCTV footage. Those seen in the tape would be arrested soon, said the SSP operation. Meanwhile, Suri claimed that the attack was carried out by PML-N goons in a message on Twitter shortly after the occurrence.
