This Lahore officer made history as the 1st woman senior superintendent

What happened:
In a first, the Punjab Inspector General of Police has appointed a female police officer, Dr. Anoosh Masood Chaudhry as senior superintendent (SSP) of the operations wing in Lahore, as well as reshuffling six other officers.
Details:
Dr. Anoosh succeeded Mustansar Feroz and has been asked to report to the Central Police Office (CPO) for further instructions.
Why it matters:
Dr. Anoosh is the first female police officer, serving as SSP Operations in Lahore. She has also worked as a police officer in the Cantonment and Model Town divisions of Lahore, as well as an assistant superintendent (ASP).
