This Pakistani VFX artist bagged an Oscar nominee in ‘Best Visual Effects’

On Feb 21, visual artist and daughter of veteran singer Attaullah Esakhelvi, Laraib Atta (@laraib.atta) congratulated her team on their Oscar and BAFTA nominations for their work on James Bond’s latest film ‘No Time to Die.’
Details:
For the latest Bond film, Atta announced on social media that her team got nominated in ‘Best Visual Effects’ category. She wrote on her Facebook page: “We have been nominated for #bafta and #oscar for No Time to Die – and here are the vfx breakdowns. Well done everyone at #dneg it was an honour being part of my favourite 007 franchise.”

“It is truly a fantastic pleasure working alongside the great minds,” Laraib said in a YouTube video, thanking everyone for their support since the nominations, “I owe it all to my brother Sanwal and my mother for always mentoring and supporting me,” she added.
