Italy’s State TV channel aired a documentary on travel and tourism in Pakistan
The Italian National TV made a documentary series regarding the renowned tourist destinations in Pakistan. The travel documentary showed the picturesque Northern areas, including Skardu and Gilgit-Baltistan, to highlight the tourism facilities available in Pakistan. In a tweet, Pakistan’s ambassador to Italy, Jauhar Saleem, revealed, “Italian National TV (RAI 1) projected Pakistan as an exciting Travel Destination for Italian and European tourists.”
The three-episode documentary series’s first part was released on December 28, 2021, the second on December 30 and part three was released on January 4, 2022.

The two countries, Pakistan and Italy, share an important relationship by cooperating in major avenues such as textile, education, the construction sector and the health sector. It is pertinent to mention that Pakistan’s exports to Italy also grew by 35% from July to October. Workers’ remittances from Italy reached an all-time high figure of 601 million dollars.
