What happened: On Jan 4, Connecticut-based former reality star Stephanie Matto (@stepankamatto) was rushed to A&E after having shooting pains in her chest, exhibiting indications of a ‘heart attack,’ which were caused by excess gas from her frequent diet of beans, eggs, and banana protein drinks.

Details: After receiving requests on the adult-content website, Unfiltrd, Matto began selling her farts in November 2021. The 31 year-old charged $1,000 for her one-of-a-kind item, and offered a 50% discount during the holiday season which netted her $200,000 in total.
To keep up with the demand of producing 50 fart jars every week, the self-proclaimed ‘fartrepreneur’ followed a high-fiber diet, consisting primarily of beans and eggs.
Furthermore, Matto recalled how she felt a ‘pinching sensation’ in her heart and called a friend over to take her to the hospital as she feared that it was a heart attack. “I ended up going to the hospital that evening, but didn’t tell the doctors about the farting in a jar but I did tell them about my diet,” later it was disclosed to Matto that those were intense gas pains which initially led her to a ‘heart-attack scare.’ What’s next: Lastly, Matto has been instructed by the doctors to renew her diet and take a gas suppressor which she claims has practically put an end to her business. Speaking about her fart jars which sold like ‘hotcakes,’ the fartrepreneur also revealed that used to get a lot of hate for it too and even received death threats.
